Our Annual Golf Day Fundraiser is on this Friday, July 30th.
Make sure you set this day aside & mark it in your diary, as it is a great day and one not to be missed!
Whether you want to Sponsor a Hole, get a Group of Friends to Play a Round, or just turn up on your own and join others playing a Round of Golf, it will be a fun day for everyone!
Even if you can't make it on the the day, remember we need all the donations and gifts you can give to raise the much needed funds which all go back to our kids so that they can continue to enjoy more great years of footy!

There is now only ONE round left to go before the Semi Finals commence - Where has the season gone?!
Newport hosts only 3 games this weekend as there is another code playing there till 1pm. The talented U/10s start at 1.30pm, then come the enthusiastic U/15s at 2.30pm, and finishing off the day will be the magnificent U/14s, who kick off at 3.30pm.....All three of these games will be great to watch, so come on down to Newport Oval to enjoy even more footy and a great afternoon.
To all other teams playing away, we wish you the best of luck, and know that you will always give your best and do the Mighty Raiders proud when playing away.
But wait, there's more!
At Newport Oval this Sunday, August 1st, we will get to see - probably for the last time this year - our 2 senior teams play. At 2.15pm, the outstandinig U/16s kick off, followed by the powerful U/17s at 3.30pm. Come down and support these boys, as you will not be disappointed... both teams play a brilliant brand of footy.

For all our great supporters, just remember to adhere to the JRL Code of Conduct when at Newport or at other venues, as some ground managers can be a bit precious, and we wouldn't want to upset them.
Please remember that this is only Kids' Footy and we are not playing for the sheep station. This time of year can be a little stressful as we approach the semis, and if something dosn't go our way, or something is said.... sometimes it is best just to let it go and talk to someone about the issue afterwards as it is only Kids' Footy....
.....Let them play, be happy and enjoy themselves - after all, this is what we want them to do!
Thanks to all of you who have been either chipping into help set up the fields at the beginning of the day, helping change the fields throughout the day for the various ages, or finally helping to pack up at the end of the day. It all helps, and is greatly appreciated.

To all Raiders playing this weekend, it's not about whether you win or lose, it's about how you play the game, and knowing that you gave your best. So go out this weekend, give 110% and remember what I always say...
...Play hard but fair, have mountains of fun, and.......
.......Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo You Mighty Raiders!
